This course explores how System and Performance Descriptions (SPDs) define building systems and performance requirements early, creating a shared framework for preserving design intent from design through construction. Participants will learn how SPDs complement MasterFormat® specifications, improve coordination and product decisions, and reduce documentation gaps while supporting health, safety, welfare, and building performance.
